Open September to April
Woody Island itself is 240 hectares of nature reserve vested in the Western Australian Department of Conservation & Land Management ( CALM ), with only 5 hectares developed for the Eco-stays by Mackenzie's Island Cruises. Transport on the island is by foot with 4 bushwalks clearly marked. The climate on Woody Island is mild temperate with maximum temperatures ranging from low 20's in September/ October to mid 30's in January/ February. |
